It’s been quite some time since I’ve blogged a new post for “Because. That’s Why.” But that isn’t to say that I haven’t been busy. Most of my effort has been directed at preparing, building, and/or maintaining the ever widening number of courses housed on the SPOKE™ network. Since my last entry, I’ve added two more: The Great War, 1914-1918 (taught this past Fall) and a new “Topics in History” which I am currently offering and that may (or may not) turn into something more permanent. I’ve also just completed a re-design of the course site that started this whole thing: History of Flight Culture. Along the way, I’ve learned a few new tricks, developed some new skills, and expanded my ability to deliver course content without having to depend on an institutional IT infrastructure. It seems to be working – or, at least, no one is complaining.

In short, while all appears quiet on the scottwpalmer.com front, alot’s been going on behind the lines. I avoid cross-posting here the many items generated on my various course blogs in favor of providing RSS feeds (look to the right) for those currently on offer.
